Do you have experience working in after-school care? Would you like to work at a pleasant school in the countryside close to the city? Then you might be the one we are looking for as an after-school assistant at Länna School!

Länna School is a F-3 school with after-school care located in the countryside but close to the city, with a total of about 50 students. The school is surrounded by beautiful nature that allows for many different outdoor activities throughout the year. As an employee, you will be involved in and responsible for creating a school with good conditions for learning. You will have close collaboration with other colleagues as we often work interdisciplinary and with mixed ages in our teaching. You will get to know all the students as we are a small community with the opportunity to create good relationships between adults and children. Each of us in the staff group is an important resource for the whole. For us, the students' safety, well-being, and participation are just as important as their development towards knowledge requirements.

Your Mission

Your work will involve being responsible for our after-school activities together with other after-school staff in the afternoons. You will help plan for the students' learning and social development and are expected to lead educational activities in the after-school program both indoors and outdoors. You will work closely with and get to know all the students and be involved in the entire school's activities. If needed, there may be opportunities for substitute work even during school hours.

Your Background

We are looking for someone with a childcare education or other training that the employer deems relevant for the position. To succeed in the job, you need to have experience working in after-school care. We would like you to have experience working with children in need of special support. The job requires you to have good oral and written skills in Swedish. You also need to have good IT skills.

As a person, you are flexible and can see opportunities in changes. You take initiative and start activities to achieve results. Furthermore, you are good at creating, maintaining, and developing professional relationships. The job suits you if you collaborate and relate to others in a responsive and smooth manner.
