As an occupational therapist with us, you will work daytime and be part of a large team consisting of nurses, physiotherapists, care staff, and the manager for each residence. However, through your organizational placement in the Health and Medical Care Department, you also have close access to other occupational therapists and licensed colleagues in addition to your own (licensed) manager.

Your mission

As an occupational therapist in short-term care, you will play a central role in our patients' rehabilitation. You will be part of a larger team around the patient and contribute your expertise to increase the individual's independence and participation in daily activities. The work content varies and may involve activity assessments, assistive device prescriptions, guidance for care staff, and care planning meetings where you present the individual's activity capacity. We also have close collaboration with occupational therapists in the region and home care for planning a safe discharge.

Nora short-term residence is a facility for patients with dementia diagnoses or cognitive impairment. Patients come either from the hospital or home. The health and medical care needs vary among patients, and an individual assessment is always made. Svartbäcksgården is a short-term residence with a focus on somatics. Your background

We welcome both experienced and newly graduated licensed occupational therapists. Experience in municipal primary care and geriatric care is an asset. You must be able to speak, read, and write fluently in Swedish and have good computer skills. Knowledge of Lifecare is also an asset.
