At Libera, we are looking for a strategic buyer on behalf of our client for their site in Enköping. Our client is a global industrial company active in technology and sustainability, with manufacturing based in Enköping.

The Assignment

As a strategic buyer, you will be part of their purchasing team, responsible for a category and reporting directly to the purchasing manager. We are looking for someone who wants to work broadly in purchasing at a strategic level, focusing on ensuring long-term business relationships, optimizing purchasing strategies, and contributing to the company's competitiveness. The work involves close contact with suppliers as well as the development and production departments. You will have great freedom to manage your category and organize your own time, with travel to national and international suppliers being part of the job.

Common tasks will include:

• Strategic purchasing related to budget, forecasts, and orders within your category
• Developing and implementing long-term purchasing strategies, primarily for your category
• Conducting market analyses and risk assessments to optimize the supply chain and identify new suppliers
• Working with suppliers on negotiations and agreements, delivery, evaluation, and development
• Participating in and driving the development of the company's processes and routines

This is a consulting assignment that initially extends until summer, with the possibility of a takeover by the client thereafter.

Who You Are

You who are applying have previously worked in a strategic purchasing role and now want to take the next step to an expanding company where the work offers great variety and opportunities for development for those who enjoy challenges, want to make an impact, and want to create something new. As a person, you are independent and goal-oriented, with good analytical skills and strategic thinking. Furthermore, you are a driven team player with a strong ability to collaborate, take initiative, and work systematically. The work is carried out under your own responsibility, both independently and in project form, so good communication and initiative skills are important traits.

We are looking for someone who has:

• At least 3–5 years of experience in strategic purchasing, preferably category-driven within the industrial sector
• A degree in economics, engineering, supply chain, or similar
• Good negotiation skills and knowledge of contract management.
• Good system skills and preferably experience with SAP
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written
