We at Björkäng special housing and Lidhult home care, located between Ljungby and Halmstad, now need to strengthen our family-oriented operations where we help each other and are there for one another. The main employment is either in special housing or home care; however, we are a combined operation which means we actively work with joint planning and help each other across boundaries, providing you with a varied job with wonderful community and beautiful views of the countryside. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are now looking for 1 nursing assistant for our family-oriented operations at Björkäng special housing in Lidhult. The job involves being responsible in a team for providing care and support by helping people maintain a good and meaningful daily life. You will also perform delegated tasks and documentation related to HSL. Our assignment includes daily use of various operational systems, with your primary work tool being a mobile phone. Within our operations, we also plan together with home care, which means that after shadowing, you will also work in home care as needed.

The position also includes being a permanent care contact or representative, which means you have an extra responsibility to create a safe care and support environment with attentiveness and close contact with the care recipient and their relatives. The positions are 100%, but the working hours can be discussed and potentially shaped according to the applicant's interests. Dialogue about this will take place during the interview. To be considered for a position, openness to work in both of our operations is required. We work based on "My schedule proposal," and your working hours can vary between day, evening, night, and weekend shifts. Start date is according to agreement.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a certified nursing assistant education, and great importance is placed on previous experience in elderly care and personal suitability. Previous experience working in special housing or home care is advantageous.

You should have a good demeanor and be able to collaborate with care recipients and colleagues, as well as be flexible and able to handle changes in planning. You should be professional and able to provide quality services to our care recipients, and be good at communicating with care recipients, colleagues, managers, and other professionals. It is also important to have a strong focus on our care recipients, be solution-oriented, and have an empathetic and respectful demeanor.

A driver's license is desirable for work in our operations; for work in our home care, it is a requirement. We also value good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, as well as previous experience with documentation. Some technical knowledge in IT and mobile telephony is also requested as it is our primary work tool.
