Welcome to the area of psychiatry, rehabilitation, and habilitation! Our mission is to offer all residents of Kronoberg County specialized psychiatric care, rehabilitation, and habilitation. Care should be provided in collaboration with other actors within and outside Region Kronoberg, with a cohesive care chain and patient participation in focus. We want to create good conditions for our patients to receive the right care and treatment from the best possible competence.

Adult general psychiatry is organized in specialized outpatient units where collaboration with inpatient care is strong. We work to ensure that care is close to the patient and person-centered. General Psychiatry Unit 3 is an outpatient clinic located in Ljungby. Our mission is to provide specialized psychiatric care, primarily for patients with recurrent depression, bipolar disorder, personality disorders, complicated anxiety disorders, neuropsychiatric issues, and patients at risk of suicide.

We are now looking for a nurse for our unit in Ljungby.

RESPONSIBILITIES

At the clinic, nurses and specialist nurses work together. Other professional categories represented include doctors, psychologists, psychotherapists, caregivers, occupational therapists, social workers, and medical secretaries. Here we work cross-professionally around our patients and value collegial support.

With us, you will work both independently and in a team around the patient. You will have assignments as a primary care contact where you are responsible for coordination, planning, and collaboration with the patient's network. You will regularly participate in treatment conferences and will also have individual conversations with patients, provide counseling via TeleQ/1177, and have the opportunity to provide training for different patient groups. We also have a mission to strengthen and support the role of relatives.

In addition, you will be offered internal supervision and the opportunity for mentorship during the first year. We work daytime on weekdays without weekends, with the possibility of flexible hours and remote work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for you who are a licensed nurse with a genuine interest in caring for people with mental health issues. We would like you to have specialist training or that you aim to train in psychiatric nursing in the future. Region Kronoberg can realize this through the possibility of educational employment and training in motivational interviewing (MI) or CBT level 1.

We are looking for someone who enjoys their role as a nurse and is engaged and confident in taking an active role in assessing and following up on patients' care needs. You have an easy time understanding others' situations, listening, and comprehending, and you thrive in collaboration with others and are open to listening to different perspectives to maintain focus on the common goal. We see that you have the ability to suggest improvements and implement solutions in a structured and efficient manner. We are eager for a good work environment and therefore seek someone who wants to contribute to this through a sense of responsibility and good treatment.

Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability. It is good if you have a driver's license. Before an employment offer, an acceptable extract from the police's criminal record must be presented.
