JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a school nurse for the student health teams at Dackeskolan and Örmoskolan.

As a school nurse, you will be part of the schools' student health team, which consists of special teachers, special educators, school counselors, and school management. The organization also allows for close collaboration with speech therapists and psychologists. In collaboration with the student health team and educators, you will contribute medical expertise to the work for students' well-being, safety, and knowledge development. You play an important role in the values work and in promoting school attendance.

The preventive and health-promoting student health work is central to the assignment. Health conversations, health examinations, vaccinations, and open reception are some of the school nurse's tasks within this. There is a well-established and close collaboration in the municipality's school nurse group.

QUALIFICATIONS

Licensed nurse with specialist training as a pediatric nurse, district nurse, or school nurse.

You have a very good ability to work both independently and in a team.

A driver's license and access to your own car are required as it is not possible to travel between the operations by bus.

Experience in the school nursing profession and/or experience in health-promoting and preventive work in other fields is an advantage.
