We in the Adult Unit are in full swing to adapt to a new social services act, do you want to make a difference? Welcome with your application today!

Our mission is to enable residents to become independent in life so that they can take an active part in society. We are now in an exciting development phase focused on creating a more accessible and knowledge-based social service. The Adult Unit includes eight different areas of work and functions where two social workers with a focus on adults are included. The unit consists of a total of 18 employees and a unit manager.

The work group is characterized by a strong desire to develop and achieve common goals and has high competence and experience, contributing to exciting and developing work.

In connection with the new social services act, we will change the work content for social workers in adult services. This may mean that you work in teams close to other outpatient care and our reception in a first-line social service.

Job Description

A social worker in adult services is responsible for investigation, assessment, planning, and follow-up according to the social services act and the act on care of abusers in special cases. An important part of the work is documentation and collaboration.

The target group is adults over 18 years old who need support and interventions for various reasons. This may involve dependency issues, domestic violence, honor-related violence, or mental health problems. It may also concern individuals with housing-related issues. By harnessing the individual's own drive, you motivate change, provide support, and guidance. Central to our work is always having a child perspective. With a focus on achieving good quality and the best results, you collaborate both internally and externally with several partners and our own providers within the social office.

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Degree in social work or equivalent education assessed as equivalent by the employer
• Experience in public authority operations under the social services act (SoL)
• Driver's license (B)
• Experience in working with dependency and/or mental health issues.

Desirable:

• Experience in public authority operations under the adult care act (LVM)
• Training in ASI and FREDA as well as competence in the Lifecare operational system
• Training in MET, MI, relapse prevention, CRA, or CBT

Personal qualifications:

• You are responsible and have good collaboration skills
• You can maintain a professional demeanor and approach in stressful situations
• You have an interest in learning more and developing in the field as well as a drive to develop the operations based on new needs
• Since documentation is an important part of the work, you need to have very good knowledge of the Swedish language and good administrative skills
