We are looking for a cheerful and social assistant for a girl in her 30s in Linköping. She enjoys having activities throughout the day, such as going out for coffee, watching movies, attending theater performances, concerts, shopping, participating in leisure activities, taking short or long walks, and visiting family.

Job Responsibilities:

Assist with personal hygiene and daily routines such as dressing and undressing, bathroom visits, showering, feeding, mobility assistance, etc.

Manage a household with everyday tasks, such as shopping/cooking, washing dishes, laundry, cleaning, etc.

Support a meaningful leisure time and participate in activities.

Qualifications:

Good communication skills and patience, as the client has difficulties with communication. Experience with communication boards, Bliss symbol language, and eye-tracking is a plus.

Experience working with individuals with disabilities is an advantage.

Ability to understand and adapt to the client’s needs and wishes.

Personal Qualities:

Considerate and responsible.

Enjoy being active and have a drive in your work.

You are positive and have a sense of humor.

Able to work independently but also as part of a team.

Flexible and adaptable in a varied work environment.

We prefer you to be smoke-free, as the work is close to the client. Good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form is important for communication and documentation. You should have a good level of physical fitness, as the work can sometimes be physically demanding.

You should be able to work night shifts (which includes some on-call duties), and it’s good if you can be flexible with your working hours occasionally, for example during activities, your colleagues' vacations, and absences, etc.
