Are you an ordained priest, grounded in the life of the church, enjoy working with youth and confirmands, and want to be part of growing congregations? Then there is an opportunity for you.

We are looking for a priest for a 100% assistant pastor position in Mantorp (Vifolka and Östra Tollstad congregations), located outside Linköping. It is a community with caring parishioners and many beautiful churches. The congregations are growing with a strong influx, so there are many opportunities here. You will be responsible for our confirmands and youth and will be part of a team of experienced colleagues. As we are part of a larger pastorate, we collaborate across parish boundaries in confirmand work.

We are looking for someone who starts from the needs of the congregation, sees opportunities, is attentive, and has an easy time building relationships. The role includes regular worship services and officiating. You are a proficient user of IT systems in your administrative work, such as Microsoft 365. Vifolka and Östra Tollstad congregations are part of the Folkungabygden pastorate, which provides you with good administrative support. A B driver's license and access to a personal vehicle are required for the position. In addition to our requirements, we place great importance on personal suitability. The immediate supervisor is parish priest Fredrik Olofsson. Start date is negotiable.

Who are we?

Folkungabygden pastorate was established in 2014 and has about 25,000 members in seven congregations in the municipalities of Mjölby, Boxholm, and Ödeshög within the Diocese of Linköping. The pastorate's support functions and administration are mainly located in Mjölby, but parish work is conducted locally in our five work areas, each led by its own parish priest and about ten employees at each location: Mjölby, Boxholm, Ödeshög, Skänninge-Väderstad, and Mantorp-Vifolka-Östra Tollstad.
