Who are we?

Albert Engström's Street 159 is a group home within LSS with 6 residences. We work from an individual-oriented perspective, supporting users in their daily living through a pedagogical approach.

At the unit, 9 dedicated support assistants and caregivers work. We currently have one support pedagogue and are now looking for another support pedagogue who wants to develop the pedagogical work with us!

Together with the individual, we create favorable structures for increased understanding and well-being in everyday life.

We are located in Klockaretorpet, close to public transport and Klockaretorpet's center.

Your responsibilities

As a support pedagogue with us, you will work variably with users and colleagues. Together with your colleagues, you will work on developing structure, communication, and pedagogical processes around the users.

You will have close collaboration with the other support pedagogue and the unit manager, where you will work on developing methods and routines at the unit.

You provide support to your colleagues and actively contribute to strengthening them in their work, for example in documentation. Designing and implementing action plans, risk analyses, and training initiatives are part of your work.

Your responsibilities also include providing users with support in everyday life with service tasks, such as personal care, leisure activities, and household chores like cooking.

You actively work to ensure that users feel safe in their homes and have influence over their daily lives.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is a trained support pedagogue or has other education deemed equivalent.

You have experience working as a support pedagogue and are motivated by working on development and forward-thinking. We would like you to have knowledge of motivational interviewing and low-arousal responses.

As a person, you are pedagogical and have a user focus. You are skilled at building relationships and have a good ability to build trust and motivate others.

You are self-driven and have a good ability to organize your work efficiently. You are stimulated by challenges and enjoy working with changes based on the needs of the organization.
