Engaged and Proactive Assistant Needed for Team Emanuel

Hello!

I need an engaged and proactive assistant for my assistance team, Team Emanuel. I am a 14-year-old boy living with my parents and younger brother in Ljungsbro. I was born with a brain injury and need help with most aspects of life. When you work as my assistant, you will help me with daily hygiene, tube feeding, medication, physiotherapy, communication, play, and exercise. I am a boy who enjoys swimming, reading books, and being outdoors. I also love playing music. As my assistant, it’s great if you are creative, take initiative, and can encourage activities that suit my daily condition.

Working hours are scheduled: Mon-Fri 14:00-20:30 and weekends 8:15-15:00 or 15:00-20:30. During school holidays, the hours are 8:00-14:30 and 14:30-20:30. Please note! The position includes work every other weekend.

Work percentage: 50% (possibility for extra shifts available)

Start date: December 12. Please note! The introduction must be completed before this date.

To work with me, I would like you to have experience in similar work with people and children with special needs, but it is not a requirement. I sometimes have epileptic seizures, so it is a big plus if you have experience with this in some form. You must be smoke-free and in good physical condition as the job involves some lifting during shifts. You should be fond of children, imaginative, reliable, and calm, and have an open and positive attitude. Experience with TAKK is an advantage. We also wish that you have received the recommended Covid vaccine doses.
