About the job

We need to expand our substitute pool and are now looking for several hourly substitutes for our three preschools, Juvelen, Smaragden, and Kotten.

Juvelen is located in Ullstämma and consists of four departments divided into different child groups. Smaragden at T1 is a smaller preschool with one department. Kotten is in Labohov and consists of two departments.

Haga Preschools' focus on natural sciences, technology, and mathematics means that we give all children the opportunity to develop an interest in these areas of knowledge. In our pedagogical work, we provide children with the tools and conditions needed to develop their abilities in natural activities, technology, and mathematics.

We believe that all children can develop by facing challenges at the right level and with the right support. The preschool curriculum permeates everything we do. We offer an education where care, development, and learning form a whole with the children at the center. By allowing children to discover and explore the world around them, with educators as co-discoverers, we lay the foundation for lifelong learning. The education should be fun, safe, and educational.

We work with children in smaller groups throughout the day to help them develop according to their own abilities. This gives children the opportunity to create relationships, feel a sense of belonging, and learn from and with each other. We want to teach children to find their strengths, become aware of their possibilities, and develop their abilities based on the challenges they encounter.

The days include planned and spontaneous teaching both outdoors and indoors. We offer days at preschool that include both activities and rest several times during the day, adapted to the children's needs.

We are looking for someone with experience working in a child group, the ability to collaborate, flexibility, responsiveness, the ability to take initiative, and good communication skills. You should have good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.

If you have experience working with children in need of special support, that is a plus.
