Senior Front End Developer – Stockholm

The Assignment

We are looking for a Senior Front End Developer for our client in Stockholm, who is undergoing a comprehensive modernization of their systems for managing external fund orders. The client is changing the provider for executing orders in external funds while simultaneously building a completely new, modern IT solution to support processes in Sweden, Norway, and Finland.

The current platform is based on older technologies – including outdated Java versions, SOAP, and a legacy interface – and will now be replaced with a modern architecture based on Java 21, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Kafka. You will be a key person in the development of the new frontend layer, built in React, contributing to a solution characterized by performance, usability, and long-term sustainability.

Your Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize new interfaces in React that provide a first-class user experience.

• Collaborate with the backend team to integrate REST APIs.

• Contribute to architectural choices, component structure, and best practices within frontend.

• Participate in the team's daily agile work and contribute to test automation and quality assurance.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with solid experience in modern frontend technologies and a strong focus on code quality and user experience. You thrive in cross-functional teams and are willing to take responsibility for both technology and delivery.

You have:

• Several years of experience with JavaScript and React.

• Experience with modern frameworks and tools for testing, building, and versioning.

• Good understanding of the interaction between frontend and backend (REST APIs).

• A proactive and solution-oriented approach.

Experience from larger system environments within finance, fintech, or similar complex domains is a plus.
