Job Description

We are looking for an International Coordinator who wants to help develop Chalmers' student exchange and the unit's continued development of support for incoming and outgoing students. As an International Coordinator, you will be responsible for clear areas and agreements with other universities, but there is also a lot of collaboration within the group. Travel to fairs and partner organizations may occur.

As an International Coordinator, your responsibilities include:

  • Handling administrative matters related to incoming and outgoing students (e.g., sending/receiving nominations, course changes, signing documents, etc.)
  • Informing and communicating with incoming and outgoing students
  • Providing support to students primarily via email
  • Selecting outgoing students
  • Promoting exchange agreements to students
  • Managing and enhancing relationships with exchange partners

The work involves high peaks, especially at the start of the semester. If necessary, you are also expected to support other work within the group, even if those tasks are not normally part of your job description.

Employment Type

Permanent full-time position.

Qualifications

You should have:

  • Relevant academic degree, at least a bachelor's degree
  • Documented strong administrative skills, preferably experience in advanced higher education administration
  • Very good knowledge of various types of system support, preferably from mobility systems such as MoveOn
  • Documented experience in organizing and prioritizing
  • Good collaboration skills and a service-oriented approach
  • Ability to communicate fluently in both spoken and written Swedish and English

We are looking for someone who is driven, proactive, and resilient as you will be part of a smaller team.

It is advantageous if you have:

  • Experience in student mobility
  • Experience in system administration in MoveOn or similar
