Workplace Description
Are you ready for a bigger challenge? The Police Authority is now looking for IT service desk employees for the Service Desk group. We are looking for someone who is positive and communicative with a focus on collaboration. With us, you will develop and gain life experiences together with engaged and friendly colleagues, while your work contributes to increasing safety and reducing crime in Sweden. The IT department currently consists of about 1200 employees responsible for all IT used by the authority's 40,000 employees. Our office is located in central Stockholm.
Job Description
- Receive incoming support requests related to IT issues from police employees – mainly by phone
- Troubleshooting, resolving, and documenting support requests
- The Service Desk operates 24/7, and our employees work shifts, including evenings, nights, and weekends.
- Work is conducted only on-site at our premises in Kungsholmen

Qualifications
This is an opportunity for you who have:
- High school education
- Very good understanding and interest in data and IT
- Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
- Work experience in providing service to customers or users for at least six months within the last five years
As the position is classified in a security class (security interview and background check), Swedish citizenship is required.
We consider it advantageous if you also have:
- Experience in providing service by phone for at least six months within the last five years
- Experience working in an IT service desk or as an IT support technician or equivalent within the last five years
- Experience in support work with case management and documentation
- Experience working in customer service

To thrive in this role, you need to be a positive and flexible person. You are self-driven in your tasks but also have a strong focus on collaboration. We further see that you care about the users and are passionate about providing first-class service. The tasks also require problem-solving skills and very good communication skills where you are attentive to the users' needs.

In this recruitment, ongoing selections are made.
Employment type: Permanent employment with a six-month probationary period
Work location: Stockholm
Working hours: Shift work scheduled for evenings, nights, weekends, and daytime.
Start date: By agreement
