About the role In the role of penetration tester, you will work with both internal and external networks, applications, cloud services, mobile platforms, etc. The work takes place both on-site at the client and remotely. The role requires good communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as the ability to convey complex technical information to key international clients. The position is full-time at the office in Stockholm.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth penetration tests on applications, infrastructure, cloud, and mobile platforms.
• Perform zero-knowledge black-box, grey-box, and white-box penetration tests of specific areas within the company.
• Conduct tests and assessments in cloud environments, including but not limited to AWS, Azure, GCP, etc.
• Perform security reviews of servers, network devices, architecture, and application design.
• Act as an escalation point for team members regarding project-related issues.

Furthermore, in the role, you will provide pre-sales support, including project scoping, estimations, and technical assistance via calls, meetings, and presentations with key clients. You will help improve the company's security services by refining methods, reporting standards, and training materials. You will represent the company at international events, forums, or training sessions.

To be able to take on the role, the following is required:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in penetration testing or red team operations, including testing critical functionality, banking systems, and more.
• Experience in manual penetration testing beyond running automated tools.
• Expertise in AWS, Azure, and cloud-based technologies, including virtual machines, containers, and infrastructure as code.
• Experience testing ICS, SCADA, mainframes, containers, and hardware devices.
• Excellent understanding of firewalls, proxies, iptables, antivirus programs, and EDR products, VPN, IDS/IPS, and various networking concepts.
• Knowledge of wireless technologies, primarily RF, mobile networks, NFC, and Bluetooth technology.
• Experience testing OSX/iOS and Android devices.

You have previous experience in the field or a similar role and possess excellent communication and presentation skills. You have gained experience in developing custom security tools and scripts, where you are fluent in one or more programming or scripting languages: Java, Python, C/C++, C#, .NET, ASP, PHP.

Desired qualifications

• One or more industry-leading certifications (OSCP, CRTE, CRTO, OSCE, OSWP, ARTE, CPTS, etc.)
• CHECK Team Leader or equivalent is a plus.
• A degree in computer science, IT, or cybersecurity is a strong plus.
