About the position

As an operations technician, you have a key role in ensuring and developing operational reliability so that the highest possible availability can be guaranteed for the facility.

Examples of tasks include operational monitoring, electrical and mechanical maintenance, assisting our customers with their network infrastructure, developing routines and methods, handling deviations, and documentation. Further examples of tasks are as follows:

• Daily rounds in the facility
• Proactive work in the data center. Safely and competently, during on-call or daytime, perform maintenance on equipment and buildings.
• Develop routines and methods within your area of responsibility as well as handling deviations.
• Build up, structure, create order and documentation for operational monitoring.
• Receive customers and suppliers.
• Troubleshooting, with the help of remote hands/phone support, perform light troubleshooting of network ports or cabling that has stopped working.
• Installation of customer infrastructure such as servers and similar equipment.
• Escort/supervision of admitted persons
• Minor technical tasks (filter changes and similar)
• Ability to read BMS systems to understand alarms and pre-alarms (experience in this area is a merit).

To succeed in the role, you need to be meticulous, prioritize safety, and have a strong customer focus.

Your profile

We are looking for someone who gets energy from being part of building the data centers of the future, who is solution-oriented and wants to take responsibility for the development of operational reliability. We believe that you who apply are:

• Proactive with the ability to take initiative for tasks to be performed even under low-intensity workloads.

We believe that you are a technician with good knowledge in one or more of the following areas: power distribution, electrical/automation, operation and maintenance of properties, and cooling and heating systems. If you also have experience in data center operations, this is an additional merit.

You are driven in your work and enjoy working independently. You know that collaboration is the key to success and are good at building relationships. You are goal-oriented and structured.

However, it is most important to us that you share our values and that your personal qualities match the culture of our wonderful team.

You have a driver's license and your own car and are used to working in Microsoft Office (M365 and Excel). Last but not least, you have good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
