Svenska kraftnät is one of the most important players in the transition to sustainable energy. We currently have about 600 people in IT, and we will grow further in the coming years. This is to create conditions for Sweden to double its electricity production and meet climate goals by completely transitioning to fossil-free energy. About the Position

As a .NET Developer, you will work with both the development and maintenance of systems with high IT security requirements, which play a crucial role in Sweden's electricity supply. You will work in a modern environment and make a real impact in the technical transition towards the future. Your tasks will include:

• Developing and maintaining robust solutions that meet high availability and performance requirements.
• Design and architecture to ensure scalable, secure, and tailored system solutions for future needs.
• Testing and quality assurance, performing unit and integration tests to ensure that systems function as intended, as well as preventing and addressing bugs.
• Creating and updating documentation in the form of system, requirement, and/or design documents.
• Monitoring the external environment and contributing to technical choices.
• Continuously ensuring high IT security.
• Collaboration within the team and supporting the clients.

As a .NET Developer, you will belong to an agile team within the unit for Emergency and Security Applications, which consists of about 20 people, such as .NET developers, IT specialists, system managers, IT project managers, and management leaders. The unit is responsible for critical applications and systems that support Svenska kraftnät's capabilities in electricity preparedness and security.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop within system development and exchange experiences with colleagues who have been in the industry for a long time. You will also have the opportunity to participate in courses, workshops, and conferences to keep updated on the latest technologies and trends, and there is ample room to share knowledge both internally and within the government sector. About You

Personal Qualities

Required Qualifications

Furthermore, we see that you have a degree from a university or college in computer science, system development, or similar, or equivalent competence acquired in another way. You also have:

• At least five years of current work experience in system development in Visual Studio and with .NET Core
• Front-end development with .NET Razor pages
• Development of REST APIs
• System development against MS-SQL databases
• System development with Entity Framework Core

You also have:

• Good experience of agile working methods
• Good experience with projects using Azure DevOps or Jira for issue and requirement management, including setting up CI/CD pipelines
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

We consider it meritorious if you have experience in:

• Work within the energy sector, electricity market, and/or power system area
• Work with system development or management of IT systems that impose very high requirements on IT security regarding infrastructure solutions
• Critical and security-sensitive government authority
• Work within system and IT architecture and developing and testing with a focus on IT security
