Bokusgruppen is on a digital and technical journey under the brands Akademibokhandeln, Bokus, and Bokus Play. The ambition is to build new digital offerings and book services that will change how we read books. We are now looking for an iOS developer for our products Bokus Play and Bokus Reader. The goal is to achieve exciting new user experiences together with modern technology.

Bokus Play is the answer to the growing streaming market for audiobooks. The service should be flexible, affordable, and offer simple and unique subscriptions for everyone who listens to audiobooks. Bokus Reader is our new app for consuming digitally purchased literature.

About the role

As an iOS developer, you will take ownership of the app development for iOS. There are great visions for how it should be further developed, and you have a significant opportunity to steer your own and the team's path forward.

You will be part of the Bokus Play app team, which consists of UX designers, app developers, testers, and backend developers working with modern technology with a background in Java. Your closest colleague will be an iOS developer, and together you will create the best user experience for Bokus Play users, thereby contributing to knowledge, joy, and inspiration.

About you

We are looking for someone who loves to write code in Swift/Native and has experience with frameworks related to iOS. You find new ways to solve problems and take ownership of app development. To thrive and succeed in this role, you need to be skilled at working with challenging technology and be passionate about learning new things and seeking the right information to make things happen.
