Our department for patients with affective disorders, primarily for patients with bipolar disorder, is now seeking a nursing assistant to complement our experienced nursing assistant team.

Job Responsibilities

The psychiatric care has a central role in the nursing assistant's work. The foundation is the caring relationship, and we work based on cognitive methods and person-centered care. You will work in a team consisting of the patient, nursing assistant, nurse, and doctor. In the interdisciplinary care plan, the duration of care and its content are planned together with the patient. You will support the patient in daily care, participate in daily planning and follow-up of care in the unit, be responsible for various overarching activities in the department, and continuously document in the patients' records.

Conditions:

Full-time, day and evening work. The position involves working two weekends out of five.

Qualifications

Trained nursing assistant through the three-year upper secondary school Health and Care program (2500 points), Health and Care program, adult education, three semesters (minimum 1350 points), or another equivalent nursing assistant education. For other equivalent education within municipal adult education or older nursing assistant training, an individual assessment will be made.
Experience in psychiatric care work.
