About us

In Basic home care, we work on behalf of regions, municipalities, and private actors, acting as their extended arm when they are closed. This means that we perform home care visits in the evenings, nights, and weekends. Aleris Basic home care is part of Aleris Primary Care, which also includes ASIH, two specialized palliative care departments, Rehab Station, and Uppsala Urgent Care.

The role

In the role of nursing assistant, you are delegated by a nurse, and your tasks include medication administration, insulin, feeding tubes, stomas, inhalation, and basic wound care. We document in the TakeCare journal system and use Epsilon as a working tool to plan shifts. With us, you always have an administrative team that helps plan and structure the work. Together we work to create safe and high-quality care for our patients.

We operate from the office at Sabbatsberg Hospital near Odenplan, and the patients are located within a defined geographical area. In the city center unit, we have both walking and driving routes. This means that you get around in our environmentally classified cars or on foot.

About you

We are looking for someone who:

• Is a trained nursing assistant with a protected professional title from the National Board of Health and Welfare
• Has previous experience with delegated tasks
• Has good computer skills and experience with the Take Care journal system
• Holds a B driver's license
• Has good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written

It is also highly meritorious if you have previously worked in home care. We see that you are independent and responsible with a good ability to handle changing situations calmly and focused. At the same time, you work in a structured and methodical way, even in a fast-paced environment. For us, it is also important that you have the patient in focus.
