You will work independently and together with others to install, maintain, monitor, and secure the systems that the group is responsible for managing. You and your colleagues form a team of IT technicians working with separate IT solutions that are subject to security protection.

The tasks require you to have good judgment, high integrity, and be security-conscious. You will have the opportunity to further your education and gain experience in the management of secure IT systems.

Why is this role important to you?

• Security focus: You are security-conscious and have integrity in mind. Handling sensitive security information is a central part of your work.
• Skills and experience: You have a solid background in IT, including knowledge of scripting, virtualization, server administration, Microsoft Active Directory, and Group Policies. Analyzing log files and monitoring systems is nothing new to you.
• Drive for development: You are eager to develop and take initiative. Solving problems and being meticulous is your thing.
• Versatility: It is advantageous if you know MFA, networking, hardening applications and OS, and have worked with this in security-classified systems. A higher education is a plus.

Your background

We are looking for someone with a high school education or relevant training for the position. Scripting is a natural tool for you that you use to simplify and automate your work. You have a background in an IT support organization, good knowledge, and experience working in virtualization and server administration where basic network troubleshooting has been part of the work.

Your qualities

To succeed in the role of server technician in the server security area, you need the will and ability to develop, be meticulous, take initiative, and be responsible. Additionally, you are unpretentious and humble and enjoy solving problems.

Other

We will hire two server technicians. The positions are permanent and will begin with a six-month probationary period. The positions are placed in a security class, and security checks with background checks will be conducted before a hiring decision is made.

You must be a Swedish citizen but may have a foreign background. In this position, we do not offer remote work.
