IT Architect Position in Stockholm Region Healthcare Area

We need you who want to take on an exciting IT architect job within the Stockholm Region Healthcare Area, SLSO, part of Region Stockholm.

About the Role:

The position is a permanent employment within Business Support Digital Services located at Torsplan, Stockholm. Our mission is to renew, develop, and streamline digital services for a modern healthcare operation. We support the entire SLSO operation and are an active part of SLSO's digitalization by supporting innovation, implementation, and application of digital services. SLSO's large and diversified operation has varying needs, and our existing IT environment includes local, regional, and national digital solutions.

Within the region, work is underway to invest in common, modern solutions that support automation and generational shifts in healthcare IT. To prepare for this work, we need to strengthen our architecture function and architectural governance.

Your Responsibilities Include:

Preparing new IT needs regarding impact and consequences on architecture
Supporting operations and projects in developing sustainable and stable solutions that follow established frameworks, guidelines, and other governing documents regarding architecture
Participating in the review and assessment of solutions
Participating in requirement gathering and procurement of IT solutions
Supporting established administrations in maintaining and further developing solutions based on established roadmaps and guidelines
Supporting management establishments with the development of system documentation
Contributing to maintaining the organization's application catalog
Contributing to feasibility studies and the development of roadmaps and tactical adjustments
Contributing and participating in the development and establishment of new processes and methods

Who You Are:

You enjoy sharing your knowledge and experiences with others and are motivated to achieve set goals and drive change together with others. You have strong communication skills that allow you to easily adapt your communication to the recipient's technical level. Furthermore, you like to stay updated on AI and other relevant areas for your role. Personal qualifications are of great importance.

Qualifications:

University degree in computer science, IT, systems science, or similar.
Many years of experience in IT, including several years as a developer, system administrator, or technical specialist.
Understanding of cloud services, databases, networks, security, and development frameworks.
Strong ability to analyze problems, requirements, and propose cost-effective solutions.
Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
Ability to work independently and take initiative
Good knowledge of using Office 365
Experience working with suppliers
Experience in process work

In addition to Swedish professional certification, good knowledge of the Swedish language corresponding to level C1 according to the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR) is required. The same requirements apply to non-licensed personnel with patient contact.
