We are located on Tegnérgatan in central Stockholm but will move to Kungsholmen in 2025. We currently have about 180 employees.
About the job
As the IT Manager at the agency, you will be responsible for driving, developing, and leading the work of the IT unit. Together with your unit and other stakeholders in the organization, you will integrate improvement work and create a common structure to prioritize and create consensus.
You will have operational, economic, personnel, and work environment responsibilities for the IT unit and act as a strategic and operational support for the entire agency. This includes IT workplace, internal IT support, IT security, as well as the management and development of the agency's statistical systems and internal support systems.
As IT Manager, you will also:

To fit into the role, we see that you are development-oriented and have the ability to balance strategic and operational work. You understand the importance of the IT unit being both a core operation and a support function.
Brå is on a development and digitization journey, which requires that you have prior experience in business development and managing change at both strategic and operational levels.
Furthermore, we are looking for someone who has:

- Experience in procurement and purchasing of goods and services in the public sector
- An academic degree in IT or another equivalent degree that the agency deems suitable for the position, or other training/experience that is considered equivalent
- Solid competence and interest in technology
