ABOUT THE POSITION  Our client is one of Sweden's largest authorities with over 6000 employees, of which 450 are in the IT department. They are now expanding significantly and are looking for several skilled software developers for their new office in Linköping. Here, you will work in teams of about five people with responsibility from start to finish – you will be involved in developing, managing, and improving entire system flows, without being hindered by unnecessary boundaries between teams.

With our client, you will: 

• Develop and deliver new features and services in Java-focused environments
• Work in modern, cloud-based microservice architectures with event-driven design (Kafka)
• Be involved in areas such as biometrics, AI, master data, and databases
• Test and ensure the quality of both your own and others' code
• Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, and other development teams
• Influence and improve socially beneficial processes with your technical skills

We value that you have:

• Relevant academic degree or equivalent work experience (at least two years of experience in software development)
• Solid programming skills, preferably in Java or similar languages
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Experience with CI/CD, agile methodologies, SQL, and modern frameworks is an advantage

ABOUT THE EMPLOYMENT Swedish citizenship is required, and a security check with a background check will be conducted before employment. The position starts as a consulting assignment via Xamera with the intention of transitioning to a permanent position with the client after approximately 6 months.
