Welcome to Alphaförskolan Gertrud.

The foundation of all learning is to develop trusting relationships with people in your environment, both between children and children, children and educators, as well as educators and educators. Our activities are divided into three parts: free play, organized play, and guided pedagogical activities. We actively work on projects to achieve these.

Your responsibilities:

- Create a safe environment and provide the care that children need.

- Conduct educational activities, both indoors and outdoors, that promote children's development and creativity.

- Collaborate with preschool teachers and other staff to create a holistic approach to children's care, upbringing, and learning.

- Daily contact with parents.

- Provide extraordinary support to children with special needs.

- Encourage play and movement, both indoors and outdoors, and create an environment where children can explore and discover their surroundings.

Childcare workers are an essential part of the preschool staff and work closely with children to create a positive and developmental environment. They are responsible for providing children with a safe and stimulating environment where they can play, learn, and develop in accordance with the preschool curriculum (2018, rev. 2025). As a childcare worker, you will also contribute to the realization of the goals set by the principal and the management for the activities.
