Kalmar Waldorf School is looking for an engaged and inspiring music teacher for teaching grades 7–9 during the spring term of 2026.

About the position

The position is a fixed-term assignment and is suitable for those seeking a shorter employment or wishing to combine work with other assignments.

The assignment includes a total of 35 teaching hours, distributed as follows:

• Three weeks of morning period teaching (period teaching according to the Waldorf pedagogy).
• One week of afternoon teaching (block teaching).

About you

We are looking for someone who:

• Has a teaching degree or other relevant education
• Has experience in music teaching at the middle school level
• Has an interest in Waldorf pedagogy (experience is an asset but not a requirement)
• Meets students with warmth, clarity, and creativity
