Role Description:

We are now looking for a BI Analyst. Assignment description: The client is looking for a driven BI analyst for the Digitalization Unit. The Digitalization Unit is part of the Business Support Department, which aims to ensure a supportive operation in balance with the core business needs. The Digitalization Unit is tasked with developing business-oriented digital solutions to meet the development needs within the client's various business areas. The unit has overall responsibility for new development, maintenance, and support. The Digitalization Unit consists of four agile development teams with high ambition, working with modern methods and tools, characterized by innovation and new thinking. Location: Client's office in Stockholm but with some possibility for remote work. Job Responsibilities As a BI Analyst in our data capture team, you are central to driving our transformation towards a more insight-driven authority. You are responsible for transforming the business needs into clear and user-friendly reports in Power BI on-premise, where you create structure in data and highlight the insights that make a difference. The work involves gathering requirements, modeling data, and building reports and dashboards that not only show numbers but tell a story. You will collaborate closely with both technical specialists and business-oriented users and contribute to making our data an effective decision support. The role also includes ensuring data quality, improving existing solutions, and being a driving force in developing our way of working with data-driven analysis.

Requirements

Must-Have Requirements:

• Relevant academic education in data/IT (e.g., computer science, data science, statistics, or similar) or equivalent experience deemed comparable.
• At least 2-3 years of current and relevant work experience for the role
• Very good skills in building reports and visualizations in Power BI (preferably on-premise).
• Experience working with SSAS cubes (SQL Server Analysis Services) and an understanding of how data is modeled and structured for effective analysis in Power BI.
• Ability to communicate insights in a pedagogical and visually appealing way (“data storytelling”).
• Good knowledge of SQL and experience working with relational databases.
• Experience in requirement gathering and close dialogue with the business to understand needs and translate them into BI solutions.
• Structured working method with a focus on data quality, usability, and delivery reliability.
• Very good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish
• Evaluation of personal qualities will take place during a possible interview

Nice-to-Have Requirements:

• Understanding of basic design and UX principles to create clear and user-friendly reports.
• Experience working with color schemes, layout, and visualization to enhance the message in data.
• Ability to coach and educate others in BI tools and data-driven working methods.
• Experience collaborating with others in agile development projects
