UX Designer for Government Agency – Stockholm or Kalmar

Do you want to create user-friendly digital solutions that truly make a difference? We are looking for an experienced UX Designer who wants to contribute to the development of accessible and efficient digital services within a socially important organization.

About the Role

As a UX Designer, you will work through the entire design process – from needs analysis to final solution. You will be responsible for transforming complex information into clear and user-friendly interfaces, and you will collaborate closely with both development teams and product owners.

Your tasks include, among others:

Creation of low-fi and hi-fi sketches

Information design and structuring of content

Collaboration with design systems and graphic profiles

Needs gathering and analysis

User testing as well as qualitative and quantitative data collection

You will work in an agile environment focused on creating intuitive, accessible, and data-driven solutions.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with at least four years of experience in UX design, with at least 24 months in the last three years. You have at least three years of experience with Figma or similar design tools and are accustomed to working agile according to methods such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFE.

You also have:

Knowledge and experience of accessibility requirements (WCAG 2.1)

Very good ability to communicate in Swedish, both verbally and in writing

Meritorious:

Experience in information design and publishing external documentation

Experience in technical infrastructure, connection processes, and integrations

Previous work within a government agency

Practical Information

Location: Stockholm or Kalmar (possibility for remote work up to 3 days/week) Scope: Full-time (100%) Assignment period: November 17, 2025 – November 9, 2026 Possibility for extension: Yes, 11 months Travel: May occur between Stockholm and Kalmar Application deadline: October 29, 2025
