Job responsibilities
As a Hardware Design Engineer, you will be responsible for hardware design throughout the development cycle, from concept and prototype to validation and finished product. The work involves both technical ownership and the opportunity to act as a mentor for colleagues. The focus is on developing reliable and scalable solutions that make a real difference for users around the world.
This is a role for you who thrive close to technology, appreciate practical development work, and want to help shape innovative products with advanced electronics at the center.
The work includes, among other things:
- Designing and validating digital and analog circuits
- Participating in PCB design and layout reviews
- Defining and managing hardware test protocols
- Performing troubleshooting and conducting root cause analyses (RCA)
Education, experience, and personal qualities
We are looking for someone who has:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or a related field
- Experience in hardware design and product development
- Experience in taking technical ownership of hardware deliveries
- Ability to make well-informed decisions in hardware design
- Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written
It is also advantageous if you have:
- Strong expertise in PCB design, testing, and troubleshooting
- Experience with EMC/EMI design and conducting pre-tests
- Familiarity with DFM (Design for Manufacturing)
- Experience with audio-related electronics

About the position
This position is a direct recruitment, which means that the recruitment process is conducted via Bravura but you will be employed directly by Univox.
