Job responsibilities

As an Embedded Engineer, you will ensure smooth interaction between analog and digital subsystems while enabling scalability, performance, and compliance with industry and quality standards. The role is hands-on and encompasses the entire product lifecycle, from embedded software development, PCB design, and system verification to support and improvement work.

This is a role for someone who thrives in the intersection of hardware and software, appreciates practical work, and wants to be involved in shaping innovative products from the ground up.

The work includes, among other things:

• Defining and documenting system architecture for new products
• Contributing to technical decisions and system integration within analog, digital, and embedded systems
• Developing and maintaining firmware in C/C++ for embedded platforms
• Designing and reviewing PCB hardware (Altium, KiCAD, or equivalent)
• Leading prototype and integration activities as well as conducting system reviews and risk assessments
• Troubleshooting and debugging hardware and software

Education, experience, and personal qualities

We are looking for someone who has:

• Bachelor's or master's degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or a related field
• Experience in electronic system design and development
• Good knowledge of both analog and digital system architecture
• Strong understanding of signal integrity, EMC/EMI requirements, and power distribution
• Experience debugging both embedded software and hardware
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English, both spoken and written

It is also a plus if you have:

• Practical experience with system simulation and modeling tools
• Knowledge of EMC and CE/FCC certification processes
• Previous experience in technology, audio, or accessibility products
• Experience working in small, cross-functional teams

About the position

This position is a direct recruitment, which means that the recruitment process is conducted through Bravura but you will be employed directly by Univox.
