to apply for the job
Do you want to combine your interest in sound, image, and digital productions with IT and user support? With us, you will be part of developing our studio technology and contribute technically to content production alongside colleagues. You will also be an important support in everyday life, helping colleagues with everything from meeting technology to Teknikföretagen's IT environment – including computers, mobile phones, and tablets.
Sweden is one of the world's leading export countries in innovation and technology, with companies like Volvo, Ericsson, and Scania being some of the largest players. A common factor for the trio is that they are members of Teknikföretagen. Through advisory services and political advocacy, they, along with over 4,500 other member companies, strengthen their competitiveness.
The Role As an IT and studio technician, you will be part of the Digitalization and IT unit, which belongs to the Communications Department. You will work closely with the entire organization to ensure that technology functions in both everyday meetings and larger conferences, seminars, and recordings. At Teknikföretagen, you will support Sweden's most innovative companies – and help ensure that important societal issues reach out through our digital channels.
We have several modern meeting rooms, from smaller studios to larger rooms with AI-controlled camera technology that automatically follows speakers and participants. Sound, light, and image are controlled via wall-mounted panels, and you will be responsible for ensuring that the systems function and are used correctly.
The tasks are varied and may include:
- Ensuring that our studio, meeting, and conference technology works smoothly, advising colleagues on how to best use it, and contributing to its development moving forward.
- Supporting larger conferences and live broadcasts, as well as being a studio technician for recordings of educational materials, seminars, and panel debates, including basic video editing.
- Providing colleagues support in Teknikföretagen's IT environment, including computers, mobile phones, and tablets, focusing on solving everyday technical challenges.
- Involved in onboarding and offboarding employees, including managing computers, phones, subscriptions, and permissions in Teknikföretagen's IT environment.
The role will be dynamic. At times, there will be more focus on IT and user support, while at other times more on sound, image, and conference technology. We also see a growing need for internal and external studio productions and live broadcasts, which means you will play an important role in developing these areas moving forward.
Who are you?
We are looking for someone with experience in sound and image production, live streaming, conference technology, or studio technology. You have a strong interest in technology and thrive in a role where you help others and work closely with the business. Experience with basic video editing, such as in Premiere, is a plus.
In the role, you need to be:
- Service-oriented and pedagogical, with good social skills and the ability to explain technology in a simple way in dialogue with different target groups.
- Calm and solution-oriented even when something does not work as it should.
- Curious about new technology and willing to contribute ideas and suggestions for improvement.
- Collaborative and enjoy supporting and helping colleagues with technology in everyday life.
We would also like you to have:
- A relevant education in or a strong interest/experience in studio technology and video productions.
- Some form of work experience in support or service.
- Some knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure environments, and client and mobile management.
- Experience with Crestron or other AV technology is a plus.
Working at Teknikföretagen
We are located in our own premises at Östermalmstorg in Stockholm, where we are about 100 colleagues. The culture is characterized by engagement, professionalism, and a lack of prestige. Here, we help each other, whether it's troubleshooting a computer or getting the technology to work during a live panel debate. We offer a pleasant working environment with good benefits, including our own gym and lunch restaurant in the building. In our office building, there is an opportunity to park your bike or moped, and temporarily rent a parking space for a car.
The position is office-based as much of the work takes place on-site in our premises and studio environments. Occasionally, travel may be required, for example, during Almedalsveckan.
Practical
The position is initially a fixed-term employment, full-time, with the possibility of permanent employment at our office in Stockholm.
This recruitment is conducted in collaboration with Ants Tech Recruiters. If you would like to hear more about the position, please contact recruiter Emelie Stjärnås at phone 0724 024923 or email: [email protected]
Selection and interviews are ongoing, so please submit your application as soon as possible.
We have made our selection methods and therefore do not wish to be contacted by sales/recruitment companies.
