ABOUT THE POSITION

We at Kura Omsorg are now looking for a dedicated and reliable personal assistant for one of our clients in Vänersborg. We offer a part-time position where you will fill in on weekdays and weekends. The start date is according to agreement, but we would like you to be able to start the introduction as soon as possible.

The working hours are scheduled as follows:

• 08:00 - 16:00
• 16:00 - 21:00

ABOUT THE CLIENT

The client is a 14-year-old girl living in Vänersborg with her family. She does not speak but communicates through body language and signs for support. She can walk independently and uses a wheelchair when needed. Furthermore, she has a PEG and a significant need for care. The tasks involve helping her with daily activities such as personal hygiene, diaper changes, dressing and undressing, feeding, and medication administration.

ARE YOU THE ONE WE ARE LOOKING FOR?

We are looking for someone who can follow the client's routines and schedule. It is important that you are stress-resistant, determined, and can set boundaries. You also need to be pedagogical, flexible, present, and responsible. The work is performed both in her home and in a school environment, which means you should feel comfortable in different types of environments and be able to adapt to the client's needs. Our client prefers female applicants, and great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

REQUIREMENTS

• Fluent in Swedish, both spoken and written
• Non-smoker
• Have a valid extract from the criminal record

PREFERABLE QUALIFICATIONS

• Driver's license and access to a car
• Experience working with children with disabilities
• Experience with epilepsy, PEG, medication, and signs for support
• Trained nurse, educator, or similar
• Experience with Positive Behavior Support (PBS)

Salary: We apply individual salary setting. Other compensations in accordance with collective agreements.
