Personal assistance is a service according to LSS (The Act on Support and Service for Certain Disabled Persons). As a personal assistant, you provide individual support and care to individuals who have been granted personal assistance because they need help with one or more basic needs. Each client is unique, and your tasks will vary based on the client's needs. You respect the client's self-determination and integrity, contributing to a smooth daily life.

About the position

The role of a personal assistant places high demands on the ability to create good relationships. Therefore, we are looking for someone who is attentive, engaged, and responsible. It is also important that you can take your own initiatives and see what needs to be done.

We are now looking for you who meet the following criteria:

• wants to work with a young man in his 20s living in Lidingö
• has very good knowledge of Swedish
• has experience working as a personal assistant
• is smoke-free (during work hours) and has good physical condition to perform lifts

It is also an advantage if you:

• have experience working with individuals with cerebral palsy
• share the client's interests in swimming, support the client in communicating with others, and be a support in social situations

Great emphasis will be placed on personal suitability.

Working hours, employment rate, and salary:

The current employment form is "As long as the assistance assignment lasts" and the position is approximately 50%. The job involves working during daytime and evening hours as follows: Tuesday and Wednesday between 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Saturday from 10:30 AM - 6:30 PM, and Sunday from 3:45 PM - 7:30 PM.

Fixed hourly wage according to agreement and other compensation will be in accordance with collective agreements.
