JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Social Administration works to ensure that all citizens can receive the support they may need in various situations. This is done within the framework of the social services' mission and various legislations, as well as based on the values of the Social Administration. This may involve home care, special housing, advice and support for people with disabilities, financial assistance, or help with addiction issues. The administration also includes the municipality's competence supply unit.

The Social Administration is looking for substitutes for home care, nursing homes, support for people with disabilities, personal assistance, and social psychiatry. What is common to all our operations is to support individuals towards a safe and meaningful life with their needs at the center. Job Duties

Working as a substitute means that you will be offered short-term assignments in various units within Karlskoga municipality, sometimes with short notice. The job requires great flexibility, teamwork skills, and a sense of responsibility.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has a genuine interest and commitment to people. As a person, you should be secure and responsible, have a positive attitude, and see it as a given to contribute to a positive work environment.

  • At least 18 years old
  • Basic computer skills
  • Very good knowledge of the Swedish language in both spoken and written form.

Meritorious

  • High school education, preferably with a focus on Health and Care or Child and Leisure Programs
  • Driver's license (B)
  • Previous experience from similar work
  • Ability to work both day, evening, weekend, and night shifts.

Background Check

To work in close contact with patients, you must provide a criminal record extract from the police. You must request the extract from the National Police Board using the form "Extract from the Criminal Record" found on the police's website.
