You will be part of a Shared Service Center (SSC) that includes the departments AP, AR, Cash Management, Accounting, and Fixed Assets. The team consists of about 25 people, and you will be part of the accounting and fixed assets group, reporting to the accounting manager for the SSC.

As Accounting Lead for Finland, you will be responsible for accounting and financial reporting for several legal entities in the country. You ensure quality in closing, analysis, and reporting according to both external regulations and internal guidelines. The role is both operational and strategic, and you also contribute to the development and improvement of processes.

You are an important partner to both local companies and group accounting, acting as an advisor in accounting and process development. The role entails overall responsibility and close contact with various stakeholders, so it is important that you are comfortable communicating in Finnish, Swedish, and English.

- Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual closings for the legal entities you are responsible for. - Ensure that accounting meets legal and internal requirements. - Manage VAT, tax, and closing processes. - Drive improvement work within internal controls and reporting flows. - Be responsible for annual reports, tax declarations, and group reporting. - Perform ongoing accounting, balance sheet reconciliations, and analyses. - Plan and be responsible for audits. - Ensure compliance with accounting rules, tax, and VAT.

We are looking for someone with a relevant university degree in finance or accounting and at least five years of experience in accounting in a Shared Service Center, with responsibility for both Swedish and Finnish legal entities. You have previously worked with tax reporting and VAT.
