My name is Simon, I am soon 36 years old and live in Orminge. I am looking for a personal supervisor for my assistance as well as an assistant for at least 80% work on a rolling 4-week schedule. The leadership is shared and shared staffing responsibility is also included, which means it can be up to 100% at times. The positions include waiting time, also called on-call at night. There are day shifts, long shifts, and day passes on the schedule.

My wishes are that you are kind, quick to understand, and have positive energy. You need to be solution-oriented and generally knowledgeable and good at everything one does in a home so you can help me take care of myself and my home in the best way! I do not want you to smoke.

I am engaged in the JAG association in Stockholm County, and I sometimes get to be a spokesperson for various issues concerning people with assistance. My predecessor helps me in my engagement, but practically, an assistant is always needed, and it helps if you also find the engagement important and fun!

I do not speak but communicate a lot, and I need you to speak flawless Swedish; my imagination is a bit limited, but yours cannot be when it comes to interpreting and conveying. I use some signs, but also an app on my iPad to support my communication. You need to have experience using an iPad.

I travel a couple of times a year, at most a week at a time; you need to be able to join me on at least one of them. In winter, there will be a ski week; I use a ski cart. And in summer, there may be a trip to Skåne or Gotland or both! There may also be a trip abroad.

I am wheelchair-bound, and I love to travel by bus, plane, train, and boat! Yes - you get it, a bit of muscle or at least good physical condition is needed from my assistants! I also need help with training, and if I am not at home (where I have ceiling lifts), I need to be manually transferred by my assistant. Experience with low-affect responses is an advantage.
