Polygon Sweden is facing exciting challenges and is now looking for a senior business controller on a part-time basis (75%) who wants to contribute with their experience and expertise to strengthen our financial management, analysis, and improvement work.

About the role As a senior business controller, you will have a strategically important role where you are responsible for analyzing, developing, and challenging the business with qualified financial data. You will work closely with management and department heads and become a natural partner in driving profitability, efficiency, and long-term development. We are looking for someone who has worked for several years as a controller and feels confident in the role.

Main responsibilities

• Drive analyses of results, trends, and deviations at a strategic level
• Develop and improve reporting routines and tools for management and the board
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, project profitability, and cost development
• Provide qualified recommendations to management to optimize operations
• Be proactive in budget and forecasting processes and actively participate in business planning
• Ensure that reporting and analysis maintain high quality and comply with internal policies and regulations

We are looking for someone who

• Has at least 5 years of experience working as a business controller or equivalent
• Is used to working in an advisory role towards management and department heads
• Has excellent skills in Excel and preferably experience with Power BI or similar tools
• Is strongly analytical, self-driven, and confident in your expertise
• Is communicative and can make complex relationships understandable for different target groups
• Has the ability to see the big picture while driving detailed analyses
