JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for someone who wants to make a difference for people and contribute to social sustainability in Höganäs municipality!

Within the Guardianship Committee's secretariat, we supervise representatives with the goal that individuals who cannot safeguard their rights, manage their property, or care for themselves do not suffer legal losses.

Your responsibilities include:

• handling cases related to guardians, legal representatives, or curators according to the Parental Code,
• responsibility for the recruitment and remuneration of legal representatives and curators,
• reviewing financial statements such as annual and final accounts,
• providing training and information to legal representatives and curators,
• writing statements and investigations within the area of operation,
• representing the committee in court,
• handling other matters occurring at the guardianship office.

The work involves contacts with both principals, legal representatives, curators, and guardians, as well as with other organizations such as authorities and banks. To succeed in this role, you need to have a positive and service-oriented attitude and be good at establishing new contacts. You are motivated by new challenges and take personal responsibility. Being part of driving the development of the operation is a natural part of your work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who is interested in social issues and has a university degree in law or other education and experience that the employer deems equivalent.

It is an advantage if you are knowledgeable in relevant areas of law such as family law, personal law, general property law, inheritance law, and administrative law. Experience from guardianship operations or other public authority work is also a merit.

Creating good relationships with others, as well as between people, is natural for you. Being able to collaborate easily with others and always wanting to provide good service to principals, representatives, elected officials, and colleagues will help you succeed in this assignment.

We expect you to express yourself well in both spoken and written Swedish.
