If you also have an education in information or communication, you could be the one we are looking for! The contact center's mission is to be the natural contact point with Värnamo Municipality – a way in where we strive to resolve citizens' inquiries at the first point of contact.

We facilitate residents in obtaining the right information and relieve the municipality's specialists by efficiently handling routine matters. We are now looking for an engaged and communicative person for the role of municipal guide at our contact center. With us, you will become a key person in strengthening communication between residents and the municipality's operations.

Responsibilities

As a municipal guide with a focus on communication, you will:

• Represent Värnamo Municipality by maintaining a professional and service-oriented approach. This involves dialogue with residents via phone, email, social media, and in-person meetings.
• Communicate clear, correct, and easily understandable information across various channels to guide or respond to citizens in their inquiries.
• Be responsible for providing first-class service and information using several case management systems.
• Actively contribute to developing and improving the contact center's working methods and routines.
• Handle incoming questions and matters from citizens with a focus on efficient and solution-oriented processing.
• Collaborate closely with other departments within the municipality.

Qualifications

Who are you?

• You have experience working with customer-focused service. It is an advantage if you have held a communication role.
• You have a university degree in information and communication or equivalent education. It is beneficial if you have previously worked in a public sector.
• You have a positive attitude and are flexible.
• You thrive in an environment where changes are constant and enjoy working at a fast pace.
• You are responsible, meticulous, and solution-oriented with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• You have strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, in Swedish and English. Additional language skills are an advantage.
• You are technically savvy and have experience using various IT tools. Previous work in case management systems is an advantage.
• You enjoy working both independently and in a team and have good collaboration skills.
