About 400 employees at the Courts Administration work to develop and support the Swedish Courts, with the headquarters located centrally in Jönköping, and local offices in Stockholm, Gothenburg, Malmö, and Umeå. The Unit for Business Development is looking for a driven and outgoing assessor.
Do you want to contribute to the ongoing development within the Swedish Courts? The Courts Administration is a driving and supportive force in the development work of the courts and boards. The Unit for Business Development plays a central role in this work by driving and assisting the courts and boards in development issues regarding internal organization and working methods. Your Tasks
In the role of business developer, you will be responsible for participating in and leading various assignments and initiatives aimed at developing the operations of the Swedish Courts. Many of the government assignments given to the Courts Administration are handled and led by employees in the unit. You will work closely with the courts and boards and in close collaboration with their employees and management through continuous dialogues. Therefore, you will gain a unique insight into and the opportunity to influence the development of the Swedish Courts.
The work involves external contacts with representatives from the Swedish Courts as well as with other authorities.
Business trips to the various offices of the Courts Administration as well as to courts and boards are included in the work.
Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for someone who is an assessor from the Court of Appeal or Administrative Court. With your background, you have very good knowledge of the operations conducted within the Swedish Courts.
You have a strong interest and aptitude for working with development issues in a broad sense. To succeed in the role of business developer with us, you must be self-driven, proactive, and outgoing. You collaborate with others in a way that inspires trust. You work solution-oriented and have the ability to prioritize among your tasks from a stakeholder and operational perspective. You also need to have pedagogical skills and be able to convey messages convincingly. To succeed, you must be a good communicator in both speech and writing.
Broad and relevant professional experiences for the position, such as work as a legal advisor, acquired before, during, or after judicial training, are meritorious.

Who Are We?
The Unit for Business Development is one of three units in the Department for Court Development. The unit supports and drives development initiatives aimed at effective and more uniform case management processes as well as initiatives concerning the internal organization, working methods, and routines of the courts and boards. The unit also works with the courts' and boards' conditions to develop their ways of using operational support and is responsible for creating conditions for regular exchange of experiences within the Swedish Courts. The unit collaborates in close and ongoing dialogue with the courts and boards. The unit has 13 employees based at the Courts Administration's offices in Jönköping, Stockholm, and Gothenburg.
The Department for Court Development drives and supports business development in the Swedish Courts with the overarching goal of ensuring high public confidence in the operations. The department is responsible for the development of the internal organization and working methods of the courts and boards, development of various case management processes, as well as the development and management of IT-based operational support. The department is also responsible for archive issues. Employees with various professional backgrounds work together in collaboration with the courts, boards, and external stakeholders.

The employment is for a six-year term.
The primary location is Jönköping, but Stockholm or Gothenburg may also be relevant. Selection may occur on an ongoing basis.
