About the Position

In the role of Registrar/Administrative Officer at Jönköping Parish, your main responsibilities will primarily include digital archiving and record-keeping as well as mail handling. The position also includes the task of secretary in the church council and church board, dispatching minutes, and other general administrative tasks. The organization actively works to reshape and streamline information management, which means that a significant part of your work will involve implementing and developing digital record-keeping. You will work closely with other administrators, supporting and assisting each other with various tasks.

You will work during office hours and be part of the operational support that is part of Jönköping Parish. Your workplace will be at Klockaregården, right in the center of Jönköping. You will report to the parish priest.

Who Are You?

To be suitable for the position, the following is required:

• Good knowledge and experience of digital record-keeping
• Experience in administration, preferably within municipal/state/church administration
• Good knowledge of spoken and written Swedish and English
• A relevant education in administration

Furthermore, you have a passion for administrative tasks and take pride in maintaining good order. You are responsible and structured and always provide good service. Since part of your work will involve handling highly confidential information, it is important that you are a loyal and cooperative person with high integrity. Additionally, you drive your work independently and have the ability to find creative solutions to emerging problems. You also have an interest in managing and developing the organization's digital systems. Finally, it is important that you have an understanding of the Church of Sweden's organization and operations and that you share the Church of Sweden's vision and values.
