The Role of a Licensed Junior Doctor

We are now looking for a licensed junior doctor for a temporary position at the Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic within Region Jönköping County. The base placement is flexible at the Ear, Nose and Throat outpatient clinic in either Eksjö, Värnamo, or Jönköping. You will work with both scheduled outpatient care and emergency flow outpatient care. Your duties also include on-call service with the management of acute ear, nose, and throat patients during evenings, weekends, and nights.

The employment is full-time and limited to six months, with a possible extension. The start date is as soon as possible and according to agreement.

The Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic is a county clinic that conducts diagnostics as well as medical and surgical treatment of acute and chronic diseases and injuries in the ear, nose, and throat area. The operations are located in the county's three emergency hospitals; Ryhov County Hospital in Jönköping, Högland Hospital in Eksjö, and Värnamo Hospital. In total, we have 110 employees in the county, of which 23 are doctors at the clinic. Our goal is to provide specialist care with good quality and high availability.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in ear, nose, and throat healthcare who wants to contribute to our operations. To be offered the temporary position, you must be a licensed doctor.

As a person, you are self-driven and take responsibility for your work while also seeing the benefit of collaboration. You are flexible and structured with a positive attitude and a strong commitment to your tasks. We place great importance on personal suitability.

The Ear, Nose and Throat Clinic operates at Värnamo Hospital, Högland Hospital in Eksjö, and Ryhov County Hospital in Jönköping, and travel within the county is part of the job. For this reason, you need to have a B driver's license.
