The Role of the Nurse

We are looking for someone who wants to start working as a general nurse in the Intensive Care Unit, gain insight into the profession, and then continue their education with a training position to become an intensive care nurse. We offer you a temporary full-time position, with start date according to agreement. We seek someone who thrives in a workplace where collaboration, engagement, and approachability are highly valued.

As an intensive care nurse, you will be responsible for the most qualified care and monitoring within emergency care. You will also participate when urgent medical interventions are required within the hospital, such as in cases of cardiac arrest and trauma. We want the patient to be involved in their care. This means that information is also a very important part of the work, as well as contact with relatives.

Your Future Workplace

The Operations and Intensive Care Clinic is one of the largest clinics at the hospital with approximately 160 employees in intensive care, surgical nursing, separate day surgery operations, sterilization technology, pain management, and an administrative unit.

Your Profile

You have an interest, willingness, and ability to help others. As a person, you are calm, attentive, and accommodating in your interactions. In pressured situations, it is important that you remain stable and can maintain a realistic perspective on situations. You have the competence to quickly intervene in acute situations, but also to prevent critical conditions from arising. In our work, it is important that you work well with others and communicate clearly.
