Your Responsibilities

As an operational buyer, you will be a key player ensuring that our production needs are met with the highest quality and precision. You will be part of a dedicated team managing purchases for both prototypes and small series productions of technologically advanced solutions. We are looking for someone ready to take on the challenge in an environment that requires speed, flexibility, and outstanding collaboration between suppliers and buyers. Your main points of contact, apart from our valuable suppliers, will be planning and several different project offices. Your main responsibilities will include: - Purchasing materials and services based on carefully planned needs - Ordering and monitoring deliveries - Gathering cost estimates - Ongoing feedback to account managers and managing supplier follow-up - Optimizing material flows.

Your Profile

We believe you have experience working in purchasing, preferably as an operational buyer. Otherwise, we welcome candidates with a post-secondary education in, for example, industrial economics. You thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic production environment and have a deep understanding of the factors that drive purchasing in the Supply Chain. Your ability to work independently and ensure high delivery precision is crucial for success in this role. To truly succeed and thrive with us, you are an unpretentious and solution-oriented person who can act proactively and maintain focus on our long-term goals. You are responsible, have a positive attitude, and are ready to contribute your dynamic energy in a change-oriented environment. Saab Surveillance is undergoing a comprehensive organizational change, so you need to be able to navigate and make well-considered decisions even when all instructions and interfaces are not entirely clear. The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to the applicable security protection regulations. For positions where the customer has requirements for security classification, this may, in some cases, entail requirements for certain citizenship.
