About the Company

We are looking for an experienced procurement officer for an important assignment in 2025. Our client, an energy company in the public sector, needs to strengthen its procurement team to meet upcoming needs and develop its operations.

As a procurement officer, you will:

Plan and execute procurements in close collaboration with representatives from the business.
Manage contract extensions and ensure compliance with agreements.
Provide support and advice to the organization’s purchasers.
Work primarily according to LUF (The Public Procurement Act within the supply sector) using the procurement tool TendSign.

Job Description

We are looking for someone who has:

Relevant post-secondary education in economics, purchasing, procurement, or equivalent.
Experience in public procurement (meritorious).
Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
Good knowledge of Excel.
Personal qualities:
Structured and solution-oriented.
Team player with good collaboration skills.

Other Requirements:

A confidentiality agreement must be signed before employment.
Security clearance may be relevant as many procurements involve security-protected operations.
The work will primarily be performed on-site in Växjö, is scheduled during daytime, and gives you the opportunity to work in an inspiring and energizing environment.
The position is full-time and lasts until 2025-12-31.

Qualifications

Competence requirements:

University education or equivalent training in the relevant field and at least six (6) months of work experience from similar work.
Good knowledge of MS Office or equivalent.
Ability to communicate fluently in Swedish, both spoken and written.
