Do you want to help shape the future of the foundry industry? Meca-Trade is now looking for a driven Product Manager!

Meca-Trade is one of the largest suppliers of raw materials to the Finnish steel and foundry industry. They deliver products for heating, surface treatment, workshops, mining, and mold manufacturing and have a strong presence in both Sweden and Finland. We are now looking for an ambitious product manager focused on the foundry industry who wants to work with the entire chain – from supplier and purchasing to sales and customer relations.

The Challenge

As a product manager at Meca-Trade, you will work closely with customers and suppliers. You will be involved in the entire process – from identifying and purchasing the best products from suppliers to selling and delivering the right product to customers. You will spend a lot of time in the field at foundries, where you will use your technical expertise to understand customer needs and find tailored solutions. You will also have the opportunity to develop both existing and new customer relationships and create long-term collaborations.

Your Responsibilities:

• Build and maintain long-term customer relationships within the foundry industry.
• Work with the entire chain, from purchasing products to sales and delivery to customers.
• Manage quotes, budgets, and sales materials to ensure that customer needs are met in the best way possible.
• Collaborate with warehouse and delivery planners to create smooth and reliable deliveries.
• Follow up and develop relationships with suppliers to ensure the best possible product range.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is self-driven, motivated, and solution-oriented, and who enjoys working in all parts of the chain – from supplier to customer. You have a technical interest and are not afraid to get your hands dirty at customer sites to understand their real needs. With your curiosity and ability to build trusting relationships, you will play a central role at Meca-Trade.

We would like you to:

• Be used to working independently and in a structured manner.
• Have a strong business sense and an interest in industry and technology.
• Be proficient in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
• Have a B driver's license and preferably experience from the foundry industry (this is a merit).
