The Role of the Nurse

At the medical unit E, patients with diabetes and endocrine diseases, kidney diseases, hematological and general medical diseases are cared for. Responsibilities include nursing, taking samples, administering injections and medications, and as a nurse, you will have a strong focus on medical technical tasks.

The Department of Medicine and Geriatrics at Högland Hospital in Eksjö is a developing organization where we care for patients in need of specialized medical and geriatric care. The clinic has a history of innovative, systematic, and evidence-based quality work with a strong patient focus. Since 2014, the clinic's management system has been certified according to ISO 9001:2014.

We want to give you as a newly graduated nurse a good start in working life where you can grow into your new professional role. Therefore, we offer all our employed nurses who have received their license in the last 12 months to participate in one of Sweden's best introduction and development programs for newly graduated nurses - RIU. The program consists of 20 full days spread over eight months, starting every year in February and September. RIU gives you the opportunity to meet other nurses in the same situation where you exchange experiences and provide each other with advice and support. Your Profile

We are now looking for you who are a licensed nurse, newly graduated or experienced, and who wants to work with us at the medical unit E at Högland Hospital in Eksjö. The position we have the opportunity to offer you is a permanent position with a workload of 100%. Start date is according to agreement, but we would like you to start with us as soon as possible.

To thrive with us, you are meticulous and take responsibility for your tasks as well as drive your work as a nurse forward. You find it easy to work together with others and have a positive attitude towards your tasks. In addition, you have a good ability to adapt to changing circumstances and you are a self-driven person who independently structures your work methods. We would like you to be confident in your role as a nurse and have an easy time distinguishing the personal from the professional. You are a self-driven person who can plan and structure your work methods but is also flexible and can adapt your perspective and attitude. You are attentive and find it easy to collaborate.
