Frimans is the Restaurant - Bar - Café - Entertainment venue in the heart of Jönköping, right next to the Hamnkanalen and along the walking path between Vättern and Munksjön. The sun shines on our outdoor seating from morning until late evening. We serve food throughout the day from our lunch and dinner menus in a delightful mix of classic and trendy dishes complemented by seasonal specialties. In our cozy bar & café lounge, you and your friends can meet over food, coffee, beer, wine, cocktails, coffee drinks, pastries, and sandwiches. There is always an atmosphere with music and a great vibe. Regulars, city dwellers, visitors, and entertainment lovers gather here, and on Fridays and Saturdays, we offer live music at the piano with established artists, and you can dance the night away on the dance floor Etage (+27). On weekends, we have four open bars - the Cocktail Bar, Lounge Bar, Nightclub Bar, and Shot Bar. We also offer companies and private individuals the opportunity to rent our event hall for conferences, parties, and events. Here, people meet to enjoy and have a wonderful overall experience!

You will shape, manage, and further develop our bars - Cocktail Bar, Lounge Bar, Nightclub Bar, and Shot Bar. During weekends, you will work in the bar, and during weekdays, you will work both as a bartender and as a waiter in the restaurant.

Your main responsibilities:

• Ensure that the operation and logistics in the bar function efficiently
• Work in service
• Develop and renew our drink menus and implement them effectively for the rest of the bartender team
• Lead, inspire, and train the bartender team
• Order and receive beverages
• Participate in developing and working towards key figures for beverage purchases and sales
• Ensure proper inventory levels
• Maintain order, cleanliness, structure, and tidiness

About you:

• You have previous experience as a bar manager or have worked as a bartender with leadership responsibilities
• Your passion for beverages is strong, from cocktails to beer and wines
• You have knowledge and interest in beverage trends and ingredients
• High sense of quality, creativity, and guest focus
• In your leadership, you are a role model for others and are passionate about helping each member of the bartender team succeed in their job
• You are clear and communicate simply, with goals and vision as the common thread
• You are passionate about your own and the team's development
• You are organized and methodical, self-driven, and thrive in a fast-paced environment
• You place high value on work ethic and initiative

Other:

Working hours include weekdays, weekends, and evenings. Salary according to agreement. Relevant education and several years of previous experience in the restaurant industry are required. Frimans has a collective agreement.
