Restaurant MR TraktörenRestaurant MR Traktören is located at Ing 2 in Eksjö, where we serve about 1400 meals per day. The restaurant serves breakfast, lunch, dinner, and evening meals to the staff in the area every day of the week, Monday to Sunday. Today, we are a team of 14 people working in the restaurant.

About the Position

We are looking for a cheerful personality with a touch of entrepreneurship and a great passion for food and flavors, who enjoys a fast-paced environment, order, and structure, and who wants to drive the business forward together with the rest of the team. In dialogue with our guests, we want you to engage and be creative in issues such as food waste and plant-based alternatives.

You will have the support of friendly chefs, head chefs, and kitchen assistants.

A typical day may include:

• Menu planning and bookings
• Purchasing of food supplies
• Inventory
• Responsible for self-control programs regarding food hygiene
• Training of kitchen staff
• Guest contact
• Cash reports

Together with the unit manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that we follow the company's routines, policies, and legal requirements.

Who is this multi-talented individual we are looking for?

We believe you are a food creator with five to ten years of experience leading and developing employees in restaurant kitchens. As a person, you are driven with a strong customer focus and a positive attitude, and you have a nearly magical ability to see opportunities and find different types of solutions.

Does this sound like you? Great! If you also meet the following points, we really need to have a coffee:

• At least three years of work experience as a head chef.
• Previous experience in a supervisory role
• Previous experience in menu planning and administrative tasks
• Knowledge of the Office suite
• Good knowledge of Swedish and English
• A solid interest and preferably knowledge of sustainability work, as the restaurant is both environmentally and quality certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001

Employment Type: Permanent, with a 6-month probationary period

Scope: Full-time

Working Hours: Daytime Monday to Friday, but evenings may occur for orders, catering, and other events. Weekend work every 4th weekend.
